The Aircraft Replacing the US Navy’s MH-60 Seahawk Helicopter Fleet

The MH-60 Seahawk is the backbone of the US Navy’s rotary-wing strike aircraft. Development of the Army’s replacement of the UH-60 Black Hawk is in full swing (namely the new tiltrotor Bell V-280 Valor selected as winner of the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) program). But what about the Navy’s MH-60 Seahawk (which is based on the Army’s Black Hawk)? Work on a replacement for the venerable Seahawk is only just starting, and it will remain in service for more than a decade to come.
