An avianca Ecuador A320 suffered a tail strike while landing in Bogotá last week and would go on to perform three more flights before damage to the plane’s water drain mast was discovered the next day. While the damage itself was rated as minor, the overall sequence of events was considered by Ecuador’s accident investigation agency as a serious occurence.
