Charles de Gaulle Airport Closes 2 Runways After Dog Escapes Aircraft

On Tuesday, November 26th, 2024, a runaway dog successfully escaped an aircraft at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG), requiring officials to shut down multiple runways as an indirect result. Upon receiving reports from Air France and airport authorities that a dog had escaped from a cargo hold, an immediate search of the surrounding area was required to bring the escapee back to its owner and prevent it from causing any additional problems.
