Intelsat and AMN help to connect rural Madagascar

Among satellite operator Intelsat’s announcements for MWC 2024 is news of a communications service in Madagascar running in 65 communities, providing first-time connectivity to about 100,000 people.

The China Satellite Navigation System Management Office (CNSO) has reportedly revealed its roadmap to upgrade China’s Beidou positioning and navigation system by 2035 by adding next-generation LEO satellites to the mix.

A launch of India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle on Sunday carrying the EOS-N1 Earth observation satellite and 15 other satellites for domestic and international customers ended in failure, with all satellites lost.
