Colt DCS and RMZ team to invest US$1.7b in Indian data centres

UAE-based Edgnex Data Centres by DAMAC says it has formed a joint venture with Thai ISP Proen Corp to invest over THB32 billion baht (US$962 million) in several data centre development projects in Thailand.

Ciena said on Wednesday that digital infrastructure and technology provider Cirion Technologies will deploy its solutions on subsea and terrestrial cable routes to enable its Latin American data centres to support growing demand for cloud and AI.

MTN Nigeria officially launched the first phase of its US$235 million data centre in Lagos on Tuesday, along with a cloud service to compete against the likes of Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and Google.
