Colt DCS and RMZ team to invest US$1.7b in Indian data centres

Vietnamese telecoms firm Viettel reportedly inaugurated its new data centre in Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park in Hanoi on Wednesday, claiming it to be one of the largest such facilities in Vietnam to date.

Alibaba Cloud announced on Thursday it has launched its second data centre in Thailand to increase its local capacity and launch an enhanced portfolio of services aimed at select verticals, with a particular focus on generative AI apps.

Digital infrastructure company Equinix announced it has opened its first International Business Exchange (IBX) data centre in South Africa, and is already onboarding new customers and partners.
