On February 23, 1975, two boys in Kofu City, Japan, witnessed a silver, dome-shaped UFO land near a vineyard. Approaching the craft, they saw a humanoid figure with a large, mask-like face attempt communication in high-pitched sounds. Frightened, the boys fled to tell their parents, who later saw a pulsing orange light near the site. School investigations found damage at the landing area, and several locals reported strange lights in the sky.
