Dito gains 13% market share, eyes profitability

State-controlled telco Telecom Egypt said it has signed several service agreements with Orange Egypt worth around EGP15 billion (US$296.2 million) to provide transmission and infrastructure services.

Ethiopia halted the sale of shares of its state-owned operator Ethio Telecom to foreign companies, to prioritise domestic retail investors instead, reported Bloomberg.
