Travelers looking to escape Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton have seen their back pockets hurt, with various airlines seeing their prices vary significantly. A user on X (Formerly Twitter) shared that a one-way flight from Tampa to St. Louis ranged from $1,174 to $2,531 onboard United Airlines. American Airlines was another culprit, seeing a flight from Tampa to Chicago be $200 more than its competitor, Southwest.
