PDG expands data centre presence in Asia

AirTrunk, an Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) hyperscale data centre specialist, has announced plans to develop its second cloud and AI-ready data centre in Malaysia.

Microsoft’s charm offensive in Southeast Asia this week has yielded two major commitments to build new cloud and AI infrastructure in Indonesia and Thailand, with the latter including its first data centre region in the country.

Nepalese telco Ncell announced on Tuesday it has become the first – and so far only – company to be officially enlisted by the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) as a data centre and cloud service provider in Nepal.
