The long-running dispute between Qantas subsidiary Network Aviation and its pilots took a turn for the worse this week when the union representing the pilots announced a one-day strike that became a two-day strike and is now a three-day strike, thereby guaranteeing to disrupt the travel plans of thousands of remote workers and regional communities in Western Australia.
