Simulator training is a staple of airline training, and full-motion, 6-axis simulators are the training method of choice for nearly every operator of turbine airplanes. Though purchasing or accessing simulators is expensive, the cost of using them, as opposed to burning jet fuel to train pilots, is hugely beneficial.

As requested by some of our viewers, we’ll be taking a closer look at the fleet of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines for today’s video. The carrier is one of the two large members of the Air France-KLM Group along with Air France. Transavia is also in this group but makes up a much smaller proportion of operations. A fair bit has changed since our last examination of the KLM fleet and it looks like more changes are on the horizon. So, let’s take a look at the collection of aircraft operated by the Dutch carrier.
