Train operator Chiltern Railways and Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems UK have announced that they have extended their joint trial of monitoring rail adhesion by twelve months.
Today (Tuesday 1 September), KeolisAmey Luas officially began operating and maintaining Dublin’s Luas light rail network, in what it sees as the start of “a new chapter for one of Ireland’s most successful and recognisable public transport systems”.
Alstom has revealed that it has signed an agreement with VIA Rail Canada, under which it will design, engineer, manufacture and support a new Long Distance, Regional and Remote (LDRR) fleet.
