The Dassault Falcon 8X was first announced at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in May 2014, and on February 6th, 2015, the aircraft operated its maiden flight. After receiving certification in June 2016, in October 2016, deliveries began as Greece-based Amjet became the launch customer of the Falcon 8X.
