The Thompson B1 Locomotive Trust has reported that there was “Noise, dust and sweat!” when its volunteers worked on progressing the overhaul of steam locomotive no. 1264.
At a joint event on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 April, the two halves of the Great Central Railway (GCR) will show visitors the progress made towards reconnecting the two sections.
