A new Geordie version of the classic country music song ‘I’ve been everywhere’ has been released with its inspiration coming from the Tyne and Wear Metro.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, South Tyneside’s Metro line is partnering with South Shields Football Club as it seeks to secure a promotion play-off place.
Pioneering graphic designer Margaret Calvert visited the Tyne and Wear Metro on 26 March, to view the iconic typeface she created for its opening.
