With The Open golf championship being held at Royal Birkdale this week, the rail union RMT is threatening industrial action that could affect Merseyrail services.
Because of industrial action next Friday, 10th, and Saturday, 11th July, London Northwestern Railway services will be operating to a reduced timetable.
