Airservices signs deal for ‘sim-in-a-suitcase’ ATC training

Under the three-year deal with Airways International, the commercial arm of Airways New Zealand, Airservices will trial the TotalControl mobile training simulator, including Airways staff acting as pilots for remote instruction.

Airservices-attributed ground delays hit new low in July

While total ground delays were up 33 per cent during the month, most of these were due to weather issues including crosswinds at Sydney and low visibility events in Brisbane and Melbourne, and just two per cent were attributable to Airservices.

First ATC trainees graduate from Airservices’ NZ partnership
