Bite taps Nokia for Packet Core solutions in Latvia and Lithuania

Vietnam’s Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has reportedly opened its long-waited 5G spectrum auction to all players, starting with the 2500-2600 MHz band, with more bands to follow in the coming days.

India’s Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has reportedly awarded 5G spectrum worth INR610 billion to state-owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) to ready the telco for its planned launch of 5G services sometime this year.

Indonesian telco Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison announced on Friday it is collaborating with ZTE to deploy extensive microwave backbone networks across Indonesia to expand coverage of its 4G network, especially in remote islands and rural areas.
