Czech rail freight operator ČD Cargo has appointed Radim Ječný as Chairman of the Board, effective 1 February 2026. The move comes as European rail freight faces falling volumes, rising costs and structural pressure.
The first services entered operation with the December 2025 timetable change, running on the Dresden (Friedrichstadt) – Děčín – Kúty – Štúrovo corridor.
