Wheels Up was first founded in 2013 by Kenny Dichter, a serial entrepreneur. Since then, the company has grown to be one of the biggest <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/business-jet\/\">business jet<\/a> charter companies in the world. In 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/privatejetcardcomparisons.com\/2024\/03\/29\/2023s-30-biggest-charter-fractional-private-jet-companies-ranked\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" >Private Jet Card Comparisons<\/a> reported that it was the fourth-largest <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/private-jet\/\">private jet<\/a> operator in the United States. Last year, it trailed only <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/netjets\">NetJets<\/a>, Flexjet, and Vista Global. The company saw a decrease in flight hours year-over-year, but was still able to record over 127,000 total flight hours in 2023.
