Jacobs will also support with policy and guidance, and general town planning matters. The appointment builds on Jacobs\u2019 long-standing relationship with the NTA, to which it has provided vital strategic transport plans and studies. The NTA estimates the new contract duration will be approximately 3-4 years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re harnessing our strategic advisory and digital capabilities to drive innovation and help clients like the NTA create intelligent, responsive and efficient transportation systems tailored to users\u2019 needs,\u201d said Jacobs Senior Vice President Kate Kenny. \u201cOur continued collaboration with the NTA reflects our shared commitment to shaping a future where sustainable, accessible transportation connects people and communities to opportunities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jacobs has more than 1,200 employees in Ireland serving clients in sectors \u2013 most notably Advanced Manufacturing, Cities &amp; Places including Transport Planning, Energy &amp; Power, Environment and other Infrastructure. Projects include the National Transport Authority\u2019s BusConnects Dublin and BusConnects Cork programmes, bus service planning across the whole of Ireland, the NTA\u2019s Modelling Support Services and Cork County Council\u2019s M28 Motorway project.
