Normally, a holiday drink with neighbours sees us catch up on street gossip but this time buses dominated.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Some of us don\u2019t cycle, it\u2019s a 45-minute walk into town, and we can\u2019t afford to take our cars in,\u2019 said one neighbour. Did I have a bus solution?<\/p>\n<p>Sadly, no. A few days later, the Jan-tastrophe started.
