The voting public \u201care quickly losing confidence\u201d in the new Premier Jacinta Allan, says state Opposition Leader John Pesutto as support for the Coalition improves in Victoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking at the Liberal Conference on Sunday, Mr Pesutto said he was buoyed by recent polls that showed Labor\u2019s primary vote sinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey (Victorians) are seeing corruption around the CFMEU,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey are seeing inaction by Premier Jacinta Allan. They are seeing no debt plan to reduce debt. They are seeing taxes go through the roof and it is no surprise.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After slamming Ms Allan and her government, he called for the Suburban Rail Loop contracts to be released for public scrutiny.<\/p>\n\n\n

He also questioned whether the CFMEU has had any influence over the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His comments came after Mr Pesutto and spokesperson for Planning, James Newbury unveiled the Coalition\u2019s new plan to fast-track cultural heritage plans to help build more homes sooner in Victoria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the \u201csensible\u201d plan Mr Pesutto said cultural heritage plans would have to be completed within two weeks by Registered Aboriginal parties and that costs would be set to give developers and home builders \u201cmore certainty\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
