The weather also also scattered debris throughout waterways.<\/p>\n<p>One West Auckland resident has told the\u00a0*Herald*\u00a0his train to the central city takes almost twice as long as it did two weeks ago, with slips still affecting rail services.<\/p>\n<p>The recent floods \u201cextensively\u201d damaged Auckland\u2019s rail and road network, the AT spokesperson said, and workers have been clearing slips, fixing roads and rerouting bus services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Key transport routes and services around Auckland remain under pressure after last month\u2019s extreme weather as students return to school.
