The Melbourne Airport link being built above ground is 7 x the cost off the airport link in Perth which is built underground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Melbourne Airport Rail Link is now priced at $12b probably more when it is finished and over a similar distance.  How can this be?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How much of the difference will find its way back to the ALP somewhere?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How can a political
