{"id":82157,"date":"2024-07-08T08:40:13","date_gmt":"2024-07-07T22:40:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.railexpress.com.au\/?p=116782"},"modified":"2024-07-08T08:40:13","modified_gmt":"2024-07-07T22:40:13","slug":"rois-open-for-high-speed-rail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=82157","title":{"rendered":"ROI\u2019s open for high speed rail"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.railexpress.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/High-speed-rail.jpeg\" alt=\"\" style=\"float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;\"><figcaption>Image:Taras Rudenko\/stock.adobe.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\"><strong>The High Speed Rail Authority (HSRA) has taken another step forward in planning for a high-speed rail network, with Registrations of Interest (ROIs) now open for industry engagement.\u00a0<\/strong><span id=\"more-116782\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">Industry engagement will play a critical role in shaping a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.railexpress.com.au\/high-speed-rail-gaining-momentum\/\">high-speed rail<\/a> network along Australia\u2019s east coast by helping to inform the project\u2019s planning and delivery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">HSRA will be seeking to test the market on innovative ideas in design and delivery while taking advantage of tried and tested best-practice methods.<\/p>\n<p class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">Australian and international experts and businesses will have the opportunity to provide feedback, insights and recommendations on key themes, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">using local manufacturing and building local workforce skills and participation<\/li>\n<li class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">optimising city and region shaping opportunities through alignment and station locations<\/li>\n<li class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">identifying optimal packaging strategies for efficient delivery of the works<\/li>\n<li class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">integrating emerging high-speed rail technologies, and<\/li>\n<li class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">supporting sustainable green infrastructure<\/li>\n<li class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">attracting private sector investment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"BoswellMediaHeader\">ROIs are open for industry stakeholders to get involved in this transformative and exciting project, which will reshape how Australian\u2019s travel, work and live.
