{"id":8154,"date":"2024-02-03T01:36:43","date_gmt":"2024-02-02T15:36:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=8154"},"modified":"2024-02-03T01:36:43","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T15:36:43","slug":"cpkc-joins-railpulse-coalition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=8154","title":{"rendered":"CPKC joins RailPulse coalition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CANADIAN Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) has become the third Class 1 freight railway and 10th overall member of RailPulse, a cross-industry coalition of companies seeking to optimise the collection and use of data on wagon performance to improve service on the North American network.<\/p>\n<p>CPKC\u00a0joins fellow\u00a0Class 1s and RailPulse founding members Norfolk Southern (NS) and Union Pacific (UP), along with other founders GATX,\u00a0Genesee &amp; Wyoming,\u00a0TrinityRail, and\u00a0Watco Companies. The coalition was formed in 2020 and was later joined by\u00a0Railroad Development Corporation (RDC)\u00a0and The Greenbrier Companies.<\/p>\n<p>Bunge North America was also confirmed as a member of the group on January 29.
