{"id":7759,"date":"2024-02-01T19:37:03","date_gmt":"2024-02-01T09:37:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=7759"},"modified":"2024-02-01T19:37:03","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T09:37:03","slug":"sell-out-confirmed-for-transport-for-the-north-conference-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=7759","title":{"rendered":"Sell out confirmed for Transport for the North conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Next week\u2019s highly anticipated <a href=\"https:\/\/transportforthenorth.com\/\">Transport for the North\u2019s (TfN)<\/a> annual conference, the North of England\u2019s main transport conference, is a sell-out with less than a week to go.<\/p>\n<p>The conference takes place on Monday 5th February at Hilton Liverpool City Centre and this year\u2019s conference theme focuses on how we can best <em>\u2018Transform the North\u2019<\/em> by investing in connectivity to drive economic growth, decarbonise our transport system and improve opportunities for all.<\/p>\n<p>Demand for tickets to the event has been higher than ever before with over 350 delegates now registered and with enquiries continuing to be received.<\/p>\n<p>The day\u2019s programme will feature thought leadership, unmatched opportunities to connect and network with region\u2019s political and business leaders, government, policy makers, key industry professionals and many other stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Conference attendees will be treated to keynote speeches, actionable insights debates and panel\u00a0discussions on the themes emerging from <a href=\"https:\/\/transportforthenorth.com\/\">TfN\u2019s<\/a> revised Strategic Transport Plan and the updated Northern Powerhouse Independent Economic Review (NPIER).<\/p>\n<p>The strong lineup of speakers has generated much excitement in the sector and this year\u2019s theme will provide a platform for in-depth discussions and collaboration around various topics including <em>decarbonisation, the North\u2019s rail and bus networks, freight and logistics,<\/em> and <em>transport related social exclusion.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Martin Tugwell, <a href=\"https:\/\/transportforthenorth.com\/\">Transport for the North<\/a> Chief Executive, said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re hugely pleased with the interest in this event.
