{"id":77416,"date":"2024-07-02T17:16:37","date_gmt":"2024-07-02T07:16:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=77416"},"modified":"2024-07-02T17:16:43","modified_gmt":"2024-07-02T07:16:43","slug":"first-key-milestone-for-high-speed-rail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=77416","title":{"rendered":"First key milestone for high-speed rail"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The High Speed Rail Authority (HSRA) is on track to deliver the first key milestone for Australia\u2019s first high-speed rail line, with tenders awarded for the Sydney to Newcastle Business Case.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>World-leading advisers will support HSRA in planning and developing the East Coast High Speed Rail Network, connecting Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A competitive open tender process sought industry experts with extensive experience in planning and delivering major infrastructure projects like high-speed rail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The eight work packages have been awarded to the following applicants: project control services (costs, schedule, risks) \u2013 KPMG; transport, land use and property \u2013 WSP; technical advisory, environment and sustainability, community and stakeholder engagement \u2013 WSP and Arcadis; high speed rail network operations planning \u2013 Arup;
