The B&O Railroad Museum in Baltimore announced in January that it was going to offer rare public access to special pieces of equipment throughout the year as part of its new \u201cB&O Unlocked\u201d series. The immersive year-long program will offer guests access to 12 historic locomotives and cars that a normally off-limits. The series began in January with access to a B&O tunnel clearance car.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to open these locomotives and cars for the first time for guests to experience and immerse themselves,\u201d said Kris Hoellen, Executive Director of the B&O Railroad Museum. \u201cThis is a true behind-the-scenes opportunity and we are proud as an institution to make our collection even more accessible.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The equipment will be accessible during normal museum hours (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Guests will also have the chance to acquire limited-edition collector\u2019s pins available the month each railcar is unveiled. The equipment to be featured in the series includes\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n
