The rail freight industry is currently in a transitional period, with many geopolitical changes and a higher focus on the sector from European institutions. RailFreight.com is hosting a webinar to kick off the year and analyse the latest, most important issues as well as provide a sneak peek into our forthcoming event, the RailFreight Summit. The webinar will take place on Thursday 1 February at 14:00 CET.<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Guest speakers at the webinar will be Michal Litiwin, board member of the European Rail Freight Association, and Sophia Nina Burna-Asefi, associate at The Risk Advisory Group. Litiwin will give an overview of the rail freight performance in Poland for last year and point out what the near future holds for rail freight in Central and Eastern Europe. RailFreight Summit 2024<\/h2>\n

As mentioned, the webinar will also be a chance to find out more about the RailFreight Summit 2024, which will be held in Warsaw, Poland on 15-17 April. Both Litwin and Burna-Asefi will be speaking at the RailFreight Summit 2024. During the event, various topics will be debated. These include the new outlook of the Trans-European Transport Network, the logistical role of Poland and its northern neighbours and the main infrastructure needs.
