Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan has vowed to never let Victoria become a nuclear state, labelling the Federal Coalition\u2019s push for the energy source as \u201cunfathomable\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The robust push back from Ms Allan came as state Opposition Leader John Pesutto said it was too early to say whether he will back or block his federal party leader\u2019s plan to build a plant in the Latrobe Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms Allan on Wednesday slammed Peter Dutton\u2019s proposal to build a nuclear power plant at Loy Yang<\/a>, one of seven pledged across the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey want to bring more expensive, more risky, more toxic energy solutions to the people of this country,\u201d Ms Allan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
