Passengers are urged to plan ahead this weekend, 15-16 June, as essential Rail Repair Plan trackwork continues to build a more resilient and reliable network.<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Across the weekend, b<\/span>uses will replace trains between Lidcombe and Sydenham on the T3 Bankstown Line.<\/p>\n

Buses will also replace trains on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line on both Saturday and Sunday between\u00a0<\/span>Cronulla and Sutherland. Additionally,\u00a0buses will also replace some trains between Waterfall and Sutherland on Saturday from 1.30am to 5.30am, from 11.30pm to 3am, and on Sunday from 11.30pm to 3am.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the T8 Airport & South Line, buses will replace\u00a0<\/span>the all-stations trains between Wolli Creek and Revesby on Sunday only from 8.40am to 3pm. Express trains continue to run.<\/p>\n

Travel into the city for Vivid will not be heavily impacted by trackwork, with an additional 400 train services on offer over the duration of the event.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sydney Trains will have more than 702 workers carrying out a significant amount of work over this period, including track circuit renewal in CBD, retaining wall, track reconditioning and ballast cleaning.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some trains may run to changed stopping pattern and timetable. Passengers may need to change trains and are encouraged to allow extra travel time and plan ahead by visiting\u00a0<\/span>transportnsw.info<\/a>\u00a0or using trip planning apps.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Intercity<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

On the South Coast Line, buses will replace some trains from Waterfall to Sutherland on Saturday from 11.50pm to 3am. On Sunday,\u00a0<\/span>buses will replace trains between Thirroul and Sutherland from 11.50pm to 3am.<\/p>\n

Metro<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Across the weekend buses will replace Sydney Metro train services between Tallawong and Chatswood\u00a0due to testing for the upcoming metro extension into the Sydney CBD.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
