What happened to <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/what-mig-fighters-does-russia-still-use\/\">Russia&#8217;s carrier-based MiG-29s<\/a>? <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/russia\/\">Russia<\/a> is in a pickle. Russia views itself as a great power, and all great powers sport <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/aircraft-carrier\/\">aircraft carriers<\/a>, so Russia should, too. However, aircraft carriers are very expensive and difficult to operate.
