Metlink is reinstating a slew of bus services as part of its year-long project to make Wellington\u2019s buses work.<\/p>\n
In a Greater Wellington Regional Council transport committee meeting last week, chairperson Thomas Nash buoyantly announced the restoration of 181 bus services that were suspended in early 2022.<\/p>\n
Kinetic (formerly NZ Bus) had 67 services reinstated in early October while TranzUrban\u2019s weekday services will all be reinstated by December 18.<\/p>\n
A full service timetable would return by January 28.<\/p>\n
Nash said he was very proud of the progress made to improve the bus service over the past year.<\/p>\n
