New reporting by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.twz.com\/air\/ea-18g-growler-killed-a-houthi-mi-24-hind-with-an-agm-88e-anti-radiation-missile?s=09\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" >The War Zone<\/a> says the attack was carried out by <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/ea-18g-growler-a-complete-guide-to-the-carrier-based-version-of-the-boeing-fa-18ef-super-hornet\/\">a Navy EA-18G Growler electronic warfare fighter jet<\/a> using an AARGM (Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile). The Houthi rebels control much of northern <a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/yemen\/\">Yemen<\/a> and have been attacking international shipping for months.
