The June edition of Rail Express is available to read online<\/a> now. For every edition of\u00a0Rail Express delivered to you, follow the link<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This month had a strong focus on passenger rail and this started with the cover story, which was the Suburban Rail Loop.<\/p>\n

The team had the chance to tour two of the new stations being built at Burwood and Box Hill to learn more about this amazing project and the work being done to ensure it serves the\u00a0community.<\/p>\n

Further, Rail Express\u00a0spoke with the team from RATP to learn about how they are utilising surveys to better understand what it can do to support its passengers and make their journeys more enjoyable.<\/p>\n

The Rail Express<\/span> team also had the opportunity to attend the RISSB Safety Conference where we heard Dr Natalie Pelham speak about the\u00a0ONRSR. She asked what the role for the national regulator can do for Australia\u2019s rail industry.<\/p>\n

Finally, we investigated Canberra\u2019s Light Rail and what is next for the project.<\/p>\n

This month also includes our regular comments from the ARA, RTAA and the PWI.<\/p>\n
