Rest in Peace, Mario Woods |
A Tribute to a Courageous UFO Witness

In this emotional episode of **The Agenda Podcast UK**, Alex Page pays tribute to Mario Woods, former United States Air Force Security Policeman, whose extraordinary account of a 1977 UFO encounter at a nuclear missile installation became an important part of the UFO testimony record.

For almost five decades, Mario Woods sought to share what he and fellow Air Force policeman Michael Johnson reportedly experienced while serving at Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota.

Alex reflects on his recent personal communications with Mario and the sadness of knowing that a planned interview for The Agenda Podcast UK will now never take place.

He remembers Mario as a warm, genuine and courageous man who remained determined to tell his story despite years of scepticism and uncertainty.

A particularly moving moment came when Jesse Michels, through his American Alchemy platform, helped reunite Mario Woods with Michael Johnson after decades apart. Johnson’s subsequent testimony provided significant support for Woods’ longstanding account.

For Alex, this reunion represented a powerful moment of vindication for a man who had spent much of his life seeking to be heard.

This tribute also raises difficult questions about secrecy, accountability and the human cost of dismissing individuals who come forward with extraordinary experiences.

Alex reflects on concerns surrounding Mario’s later health difficulties and questions whether any connection could exist between those problems and his reported encounter, while recognising that such a connection has not been established.

Above all, this is a tribute to a man who showed remarkable courage in speaking openly about an experience that profoundly affected his life.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to Mario Woods’ family, friends and everyone in the UFO and experiencer communities who knew and respected him.

*Rest in Peace, Mario Woods. Your courage and testimony will not be forgotten.*
