The upgrades will help to maintain reliable train services on the routes for those travelling between Gloucester and Worcester for the years to come.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the weekends of 10-11 and 17-18 October:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Replacement road transport will operate between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa or Worcester Foregate Street, plus to\/from Birmingham New Street.<\/li>\n<li>GWR will still operate trains between Gloucester and Swindon or London Paddington, plus between Gloucester and Bristol Temple Meads or Westbury.<\/li>\n<li>CrossCountry will run trains between Gloucester and Plymouth or Penzance.<\/li>\n<li>Transport for Wales will run trains between Gloucester and Cardiff Central.<\/li>\n<li>West Midlands Railway will run trains between Worcester Foregate Street and Great Malvern or Hereford.<\/li>\n<li>No trains can operate via Worcester Shrub Hill station on Sunday 4 October; buses replace trains between Worcestershire Parkway and Great Malvern.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GWR\u2019s Station Manager for Cheltenham and Gloucester, Chloe Coglan, said: \u201cThese rail improvements are important to maintain train services for the communities and passengers who depend on them.\u202f\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe know that disruption to journeys is never welcome, especially at weekends, and we are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.
