The company will run a biweekly round trip from G\u00f6teborg to Ume\u00e5 via Eskilstuna near Stockholm. At all locations, the train will make stops at intermodal terminals.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-52888\"><\/span>The Mercitalia Logistics subsidiary offers 32 loading units per train on the biweekly round trip. Both cranable and non-cranable semi-trailers can be transported on the route.<\/p>\n<p>The train departs from the Arken intermodal terminal in the G\u00f6teborg port and takes six hours to reach the Eskilstuna intermodal terminal west of Stockholm. From there, the train continues on another 14-hour journey northward until it reaches Ume\u00e5\u2019s intermodal terminal.<\/p>\n<p>According to TX Logistik, well-known freight forwarders are already using the new route. The company says that it is the company transporting freight along the Swedish east coast\u2019s Botnia railway, with 120 kilometres per hour enabled by ETCS.<\/p>\n<h2>Not the first route in Sweden<\/h2>\n<p>The G\u00f6teborg &#8211; Ume\u00e5 route is not the first route that TX Logistik operates in Sweden.
