A new \u201cCrusaders Express\u201d train service will run from Rolleston or Rangiora to the new Christchurch stadium.<\/p>\n
T\ufeffhe service starts April 24, starting from Rolleston for the Crusaders vs Waratahs match. Alternates between Rolleston and Rangiora for four home games.<\/p>\n
Drops passengers at a temporary ramp at Pilgrim Place, about 1 km from One New Zealand Stadium.<\/p>\n
T\ufeffhe \u201cCrusaders Express\u201d train will features themed carriages and a social, game\u2011day atmosphere. as a Joint initiative by Crusaders, 2 Degrees, and Mainland Rail.<\/p>\n

T\ufeffhe \u201cCrusaders Express\u201d train aim is to enhance match\u2011day experience, reduce car traffic and ease CBD congestion and demonstrate the potential for commuter rail in Canterbury.<\/p>\n
M\ufeffainland Rail plans for more rail services for major events and wider regional use.<\/p>\n
T\ufeffhe Christchurch City Council contributed $51,000 from the Capital Endowment Fund for temporary access infrastructure, which will include lightweight mobility devices.<\/p>\n
Mainland Rail is still working with the council on a permanent or temporary platform at Moorhouse Ave\/Colombo Street.<\/p>\n
