The latest rumors of an imminent White House announcement concerning UFOs and non-human intelligence have generated some discussion. In this video, I examine what is actually known and explain why I remain unconvinced that a genuine disclosure plan is underway. I also take a close look at two new documents addressing the psychological and social consequences of disclosure. Some of their recommendations seem sensible, on the face of it.<\/p>\n

But others envision an extraordinary national apparatus involving HHS, intelligence agencies, educators, clinicians, religious leaders, coordinated public messaging, and population-level behavioral-health monitoring. This raises a basic question: Who will control the information, and who will define the public\u2019s proper response? Finally, I return to the historical record\u2014official memoranda, extraordinary military encounters, and decades of crash-retrieval testimony\u2014which strongly suggests that the real problem is far older and more serious than the latest Washington rumor.<\/p>\n
