{"id":5047,"date":"2024-01-25T14:36:43","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T04:36:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=5047"},"modified":"2024-01-25T14:36:43","modified_gmt":"2024-01-25T04:36:43","slug":"srsa-complete-cambridge-south-2023-christmas-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibewire.com.au\/?p=5047","title":{"rendered":"SRSA complete Cambridge South 2023 Christmas programme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part of their \u00a340 million Cambridge South contract awarded in September, the <a href=\"https:\/\/colasrail.com\/en\/realisations\/south-rail-systems-alliance\/\">South Rail Systems Alliance (SRSA)<\/a> has completed a major rail systems milestone over the Christmas period.<\/p>\n<p>Encompassing an eight-day possession, the team delivered a Christmas programme of multidisciplinary track and overhead line electrification upgrades including:<\/p>\n<p>Realigned 1.54km of Track into the New Loop Line<br \/>\nRenewed 1.7km of New Contact &amp; Catenary Wires<br \/>\nRenewed 550m of Return Conductor<br \/>\n33 Spans of Droppers<br \/>\n66 locations registered<br \/>\nCommissioned 2.86km of New PL Track &amp; Overhead Line Equipment<br \/>\nInstalled 11 OLE Masts and 5 Portal Booms<\/p>\n<p>This stage of works now completes the Any Line Open 1 (ALO1) programme which commenced in October 2023. This stage of the work completes a new track realignment and associated catenary works that enables the continuation of the next key stage of the station build.
