INTERNATIONAL Railway Journal (IRJ) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Simmons as the publication\u2019s new deputy editor.<\/p>\n
Simmons joins IRJ following a long journalism career, primarily for business-to-business publications covering commercial real estate and urban regeneration, including transport.<\/p>\n
He also edited British railway enthusiast publication Rail Express<\/em> between 2021 and 2022.<\/p>\n \u201cMark brings a wealth of journalism experience and an excellent understanding of global business operations to IRJ,\u201d says editor-in-chief, Kevin Smith. \u201cHe speaks fluent German and is already proving a great asset to the team.
