A strong partnership with The Arch Company will continue to deliver positive outcomes for the railway estate and the communities that the railway serves.<\/p>\n

Network Rail and The Arch Company (Arch Co) have announced a multi\u2011million\u2011pound deal that will see a range of property assets transfer to Arch Co\u2019s ownership across the London portfolio, marking another strong step in its ongoing and highly productive partnership.<\/p>\n

The portfolio purchased by Arch Co includes a broad mix of railway arches and investment assets, including in Borough Market. The usage ranges across light industrial, retail and food and beverage outlets, and will form part of Arch Co\u2019s existing capital expenditure pipeline.<\/p>\n

Network Rail\u2019s partnership with Arch Co continues to deliver positive outcomes for both the railway estate and the communities it serves, with this latest transaction a strong example of the collaboration between the two organisations.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from this sale will be reinvested directly back into Britain\u2019s railway infrastructure, supporting Network Rail\u2019s commitment to increase commercial revenues and reduce subsidy as the rail industry moves closer to becoming Great British Railways.<\/p>\n
