A freight train loaded with LPG derailed, causing a leak and an explosion at the station of the Tuscan city.<\/strong><br \/>\n<span id=\"more-72141\"><\/span>Moretti\u2019s final sentence comes almost exactly 17 years after the accident, which occurred on the evening of 29 June 2009. In addition to the 32 dead, dozens of people were injured and displaced as a consequence of the explosion.<\/p>\n<p>This latest sentence is the definitive one, coming after a very long legal dispute. It was in fact confirmed by the Corte di Cassazione (the highest court of appeal in the Italian judicial system) after years of appeals and postponements.
