Passenger journeys on the Elizabeth line increased substantially since the central section opened in 2022, with stations on the new section of the line amongst the busiest in Great Britain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p paraid=\"591770512\" paraeid=\"{76459e6a-daf0-418c-ba77-a2dad64b9fda}{109}\">Season ticket journeys, often used by commuters, have continued to increase since the pandemic, with 234 million journeys made, a 4% increase on the previous year, although this is far short of the 588 million before the pandemic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p paraid=\"260034794\" paraeid=\"{e9e74af8-5fb6-49fd-b85f-531f48cb2b48}{215}\">Off peak\u202fjourneys have also risen in the latest year from 799 million to 844 million \u2013 a 6% increase.
