This includes upgrade work at South Kensington tube station and works to enable TfL\u2019s step-free access programme.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Costain was one of three successful suppliers joining the framework, which carries a total value of approximately \u00a3700m. Projects will be awarded over a two-year term, with an option of a two-year extension.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drawing on its extensive cross-sector experience delivering complex transportation infrastructure programmes, Costain\u2019s role will see it provide a range of best-in-class services, including design, engineering, programme delivery and supply chain management.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The framework award extends Costain\u2019s long-term&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.costain.com\/insights\/2024\/transport-for-london-a-portfolio-case-study\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">delivery of complex infrastructure<\/a>&nbsp;with Transport for London, including using production thinking, which combines modern methods of construction with new technologies, to successfully refurbish&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.costain.com\/media\/press-releases\/2025\/costain-completes-critical-works-on-complex-london-road-upgrade\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the A40 Westway<\/a>, one of London\u2019s busiest routes.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Alex Vaughan, Chief Executive at Costain, commented:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>\u201cWe are a trusted, long-term partner of Transport for London, and our growing relationship with this important customer is testament to our proven track record in delivering best-in-class infrastructure services across the capital.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cUpgrading London\u2019s transport network is critical for a more prosperous, resilient and decarbonised UK.
