The Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) has appointed Alexander Moor as Chief Product and Technology Officer, effective immediately.<\/p>\n

In this role, Alex will lead RSSB\u2019s product strategy and digital capability, overseeing the development and delivery of tools and services that support the safety, efficiency, and performance of Britain\u2019s rail network. He joins the Executive Committee and will report directly to CEO Mark Phillips.<\/p>\n

Alex joined RSSB in 2012 and has been central to the growth of the organisation\u2019s digital and data capability. Under his technical leadership, RSSB has developed a suite of digital products used across the industry, including the Safety, Health and Sustainability insights platform. These tools bring together complex data to support decision making for operators, safety leaders and others across the GB rail network.<\/p>\n

He has led RSSB\u2019s achievement of ISO 27001 accreditation, introduced AI-enabled capabilities that help users extract insight from safety event data, and built a high-performing team focused on innovation and delivering value to customers.<\/p>\n

His appointment reflects RSSB\u2019s commitment to placing digital and product at the heart of its offer to the rail industry, from operators and infrastructure managers to the supply chain and government.<\/p>\n

Mark Phillips, RSSB Chief Executive Officer, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n
