 I am aware that some weeks there are very few photos in the Cleaning Blog. For the reason read on! <\/p>\n

Only rake 1, and that in Platform 2.<\/p>\n

It was weedkilling time again, so the through road was cleared for the weedkilling train. As it turned it was a non-event, possibly because it was too windy. The DMU is out of action for a couple of months, no need to go down there. So there were 16 of us for 1 train! Hence I took the chance to take photos.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
First up is Long Tall Steve. After this he did parts of the outside of the waiting room on platform 2 which he can reach.<\/div>\n

Walking up the train I found Val hard at work.<\/p>\n

Next up were Lynn, John, Kath and Greg, snapped having a quick natter!<\/p>\n

Walking back the other way, but outside, first was Paul. With the train moved down this was the first chance to clean this side for a month. It was hard work!<\/div>\n

Further down was David, Roger C, Tim and Peter<\/p><\/div>\n

While they had been having a clear out another department found an (unused) brush with extendable handle. Could we find a use for it? Yes, please! Here Tim is able to clean the south end carriage from trackside.<\/p><\/div>\n

While down this end I checked the carriage we polished at the beginning of October last year – not looking bad at all.<\/div>\n

I did some cleaning – honest! Prize catch today were these:<\/p><\/div>\n

So that was it for this week. A cancelled weedkilling train is often scheduled for the next week, if the weather is suitable. So place your bets for 1 rake or 2, or if only 1, which one?<\/p>\n
